Real Estate Advisors for Complex Transactions.

Working with estate and matrimonial attorneys, fiduciaries, and families on the property matters that arrive at the most consequential moments of life, with the discretion the situation requires and the strategy the outcome demands.

What She Does

Real estate when the stakes are not just financial.

Most real estate transactions are about timing and price. The Taliaferrow Team exists for the ones that are also about something else: a will, a settlement, a parent moving on, a chapter closing.

Viola Taliaferrow specializes in the real estate side of life transitions. Estate settlements, divorce proceedings, fiduciary sales, and other moments when property is only part of a much larger story. In these circumstances, real estate is rarely the only thing happening and almost never the most painful. Her role is to bring structure to the process, coordinate seamlessly with the legal and financial professionals involved, and protect the asset's value while families attend to everything else.

— I

Discretion

No signs unless requested. No social posts that name addresses. No conversations outside the room. In sensitive matters, privacy is the foundation of the work, not a courtesy extended.

— II

Strategy

Pricing, timing, presentation, and negotiation are one strategy, not four separate decisions. Each calibrated to the client's circumstances, the current market, and the broader objectives of the case.

— III

Care

Real estate decisions in these moments are rarely just about real estate. Viola works with the attorneys, CPAs, fiduciaries, and family members already involved, as a trusted extension of the professional team.

Who She Serves

A trusted resource for the professionals who serve families.

Many engagements begin not with a marketing campaign but with a quiet phone call: I have a client who is going to need to sell, would you take this one? That referral relationship, built over twenty-two years, is the foundation of the work.

About

An approach built on process, not just property.

Viola Taliaferrow, Licensed Associate Real Estate Broker

Viola Taliaferrow brings to real estate the discipline of a career that began somewhere unexpected: enterprise project management.

Before earning her real estate license in 2004, Viola spent years in enterprise telecommunications, managing the kind of complex, multi-stakeholder projects where deadlines didn't move and outcomes mattered. That training, how to coordinate professionals under pressure, communicate clearly across teams, and bring complicated work across the finish line, became the foundation of the work she does today.

She holds a Master of Science in Telecommunications and Computing Science Management from Polytechnic University, a B.S. in Marketing from Medgar Evers College, and was trained in Project Management Professional (PMP) methodology.

Today she works as a Licensed Associate Real Estate Broker and Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES®) with Keller Williams Realty Group in Scarsdale, with a focus that has become unmistakably her own: real estate at the intersection of legal complexity, family transition, and senior life events.

Brooklyn-born and Westchester-based, Viola is civically active in the Town of Greenburgh, currently serving on the Four Corners Steering Committee and the Hartsdale Review Board, with prior service on the Comprehensive Planning Committee, the Greenburgh Oversight Committee, and the Planning Board.

Service Area

Geography has never defined her work.

Relationships, architecture, and opportunity have. The Taliaferrow Team represents clients throughout Westchester County and across New York City (Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, and the Bronx), wherever those three things lead.

Westchester County

Scarsdale · Bronxville · Briarcliff Manor · Armonk · Hartsdale · Dobbs Ferry · White Plains · Mount Vernon · New Rochelle · Yonkers

Manhattan · Brooklyn · Queens · The Bronx

The Bronx and select New York City matters are handled by the team's NYC partner.

For clients whose moves cross state lines or international borders, vetted local representation is one phone call away.

Real estate decisions are rarely made alone. They happen at home, among family, trusted confidants, and quiet counsel. That is precisely the company we prefer to keep.

Lorenzo Holloman, Partner and Licensed Real Estate Salesperson
Lorenzo Holloman
Partner · Licensed Real Estate Salesperson, Keller Williams Realty NYC Group

Harlem-born and a longtime Bronx resident, Lorenzo Holloman brings to real estate the precision of an engineer.

Before joining Viola as a partner on The Taliaferrow Team, he spent three decades as an aerospace and industrial engineer, work that trained him to break complex problems into orderly, solvable steps.

That discipline is matched by an uncommon depth on the financial side of a transaction. Across more than fifteen years in real estate, Lorenzo has also worked as a mortgage originator with Citigroup and Commercial Credit Company, experience that lets him help families build a realistic, honest plan toward owning a home, not simply find one.

What clients remember, though, is the relationship. For more than thirty years Lorenzo has supported young people across the Tristate area through teen entrepreneurship, sports, and technology, and he carries that same commitment into his work. He specializes in the personal connection, with a network spanning thousands of families who have come to trust his counsel.

Lorenzo can be reached directly at 347-322-9215.

She works most often from the Scarsdale office of Keller Williams Realty Group, where she is typically accompanied at her desk by Tux, a dog of opinions.
